Seems that switching to the curses servers has cause the an email server to send out email confirmation is down. Gives out this message Telarapedia could not send your confirmation mail. Please check your e-mail address for invalid characters. Mailer returned: Failed to connect to ssl://smtp.gmail.com:465 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Unable to find the socket transport "ssl" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP? (code: -1, response: )]

I experienced this as well, even though, oddly my email is with Hotmail, and not Gmail it still didn't go through.
