Given the sheer number of NPCs that pack up and move themselves between zones at instant speeds (When do we get that teleport spell?), perhaps it is time to rethink the way NPCs are entered. Instead of a single entry for NPCs, maybe the NPC should be a disambiguation page with links to NPC (Zone) pages for each individual instance of that NPC. Alternatively, we could modify the NPC data form to allow multiple sections for each area they are in with a location and quests for each.
Seems like the first will cause less consistency in how NPCs are linked to throughout the wiki and the second makes it a bit harder to find the instance of the NPC you want in . Personally, I like the second option more but think some opinions would be useful (and assistance from someone who knows how to edit the data entry forms).
