Honor the righteous dead When the Eth Empire collapsed, Freemarch fell under the heel of a cruel warlord named Jakub. So a bold farmer named Eliam led the people to overthrow this brute, and was named the first March Warden. He and his successors were so just and courageous that each earned the honor of burial in Iron Tomb. Yet even this hallowed crypt is not safe in the time of rifts, for the Endless Court seeks to enslave the noble ghosts of the March Wardens, and use them to gain possession of a terrible secret hidden in the tomb. Join with the ghost of Eliam himself as you defend Iron Tomb from this cruel defilement. And the earth shall rise… Earthquakes, dust storms, and falling boulders herald the coming of an Earth Rift. These cracks between dimensions bring new rock formations rising suddenly from the ground, covered in glittering gems and rich with ore. But do not be tempted by these riches, for the Earthspawn stomp near their native rifts, and these are the most brutal of Telara’s invaders. From venomous basilisks, to stupid and destructive mountain trolls, to the titans in all their awful glory, the Earthtouched are power personified. Meanwhile, the cult of the Golden Maw stands for the worst excesses of greed and corruption, and their mistress Laethys, Dragon of Earth, revels in every act of selfishness and lust.
