Ore and gems can be gathered from lodes at various locations across Telara. To collect them, one has to train the mining profession. Each lode can offer a certain type of ore, depending on its position and the level of the zone.

Some locations can randomly spawn slightly different ore, e.g. a Silver ore location might sometimes just be an Iron lode.

Freemarch

In Freemarch, the starting zone for Defiant players, only Tin and Copper ore can be found. Copper is mostly located at the south cost to the Lake of Solace and around Smith's Haven.

Droughtlands

Ore found in Droughtlands includes cobalt, titanium, and gold. Cobalt is found in the northern half of the zone and titanium is in the south. Gold can be found randomly at any node. Full resolution image: Media:Droughtlands Mining.jpg

Shimmersand

Ore found in Shimmersand includes titanium, carmintium, platinum and orichalcum. Titanium is found primarily near the border of Droughtlands, and carmintium is found in the rest of the zone. Orichalcum can only be found in the desert area to the far west. Platinum can be found randomly at any node. Full resolution image: Media:Shimmersand Mining.jpg

Iron Pine Peak

Ore found in Iron Pine Peak includes titanium, carmintium, platinum, orichalcum, and occasionally cobalt and gold (cobalt/gold are generally only near the border of Gloamwood). Carmintium is mostly found inside caves, and titanium is out in the open. Orichalcum can only be found at the farthest eastern part of the zone. Full resolution image: Media:Iron Pine Peaks Mining.jpg
