Little is known about the Lore, or background story, of Heroes of Telara. It is thought that the game takes place some time after a dark ages or perhaps a cataclysm, and new conflict is looming. Per the official about page, "Long after the Age of Legend, when centuries of conflict devastated the fair kingdoms of Telara, the world teeters on the edge of darkness."^[1]
