2. proceeding from or showing a revengeful spirit.
Formed over the first Closed Beta weekend on Sunrest [PvP-RP]. Vindictive is looking for members to join us in the next Beta - Guardians of the Vigil, or if you do not get access, to get to know each other and form a close knit group of core gamers from which we can expand once the game ships. We are not going to label ourselves as 'casual' or 'hardcore' and so on. We're just a bunch of guys and girls looking to play with like minded, fun loving, sociable gamers over the course of the Beta with the aim of going at it together once the game goes live.

Will I Fit In?
If:
1. You're a dedicated and sociable gamer who likes to banter with others and can take jokes as well as give them.
2. You're able to receive, as well as give, constructive criticism when discussing tactics (both PvE and PvP)
3. You are pro active enough to farm gold and crafting materials so that you are fully buffed and have enough potions to last you an entire raid session.(drinks, repairs, buff scrolls etc...)
4. You can follow instructions and understand spoken English (and British accents )
5. You are committed enough that you will see through a full night of raiding even if that consists of wiping on the same boss all night.
6. You can aren't a drama llama.
Then you're probably exactly the kind of person we're looking for!

We are currently working on a forum and that will be up and running before the next Beta. For now, please message me (Dasein) on the official Rift site with the following information:

Will we be raiding?
We will be located in the GMT -5 timezone and will be looking to start raiding at 7.30pm (GMT -5). This time is guideline only, but it gives you an idea of whether or not you'll be suitable for our raiding schedule. Once we hit raid content, we will make it a central aspect of our guild practice to raid. We expect to raid three nights per week and whilst progress will be pushed for on every raid, we will not be a 'hardcore' raiding guild. We will expect you to be ready before the raid with everything you are required to bring; consumables, correct spec etc... But we're not going to gkick you for not showing up for a week, so long as you give the raid leaders due notice where possible. Our aim is to stay at the top of the raid content and reward those who help us do that. Specific raid days will be determined closer to the time.
Our overall goal
Our main aim and long term goal is to form a tight knit community of dedicated gamers and to maintain Vindictive as a well respected and well liked guild that consistently sets itself apart as one of the best Defiant guilds for both community and progress on the server we choose to call home.
What about PvP?
We will be playing on a PvP server (TBD) once the game launches.Mainly because it's more challenging, but also because it is more in line with the 'reality' of the lore of Rift, and we like to get immersed in the game world. We are currently located on the Beta PvP-RP server Sunrest for the purpose of Beta Testing - fewer people on RP servers. Once the game launches, whilst PvP will not be our chief concern (in that PvE Raids take precedence over PvP) we will of course urge everybody to explore all the content available and as such we will have PvP groups on none raiding nights.
