We're a pretty laid back bunch.
We don't have many rules, it's a game and we want everyone to have fun. You purchased the box and are paying the monthly fee so we encourage you to play your own way.
Have fun and we'll join you whenever we can in groups and in raids. Having said that, no one owes anyone anything. There's no entitlement to be escorted around just because you joined.
Real life comes first, so if you have to leave a group unexpectedly don't feel guilty although always let the group know and try to find a replacement for yourself if you have forewarning.
The Forgotten is a pretty flat organization. There's a leader that exists simply because someone had to start the guild, there are members that have pretty much all rights (including inviting and kicking people), and there are recruits that will either be members or gone soon.
Anyway, our entire set of rules basically comes down to this, "don't be a jerk or someone will kick you."
RP Background
The Forgotten are a band of disenfranchised ascendants loosely aligned with the Defiant for the sake of averting the terrible fate Telara faces. Although we march alongside the Defiant, we do not really see ourselves as part of their culture. We have lost so much, and apart from this new family we have forged together, we feel desperately lonely for what we have left behind. However, if somehow by our sacrifice we manage to bring salvation to those we loved, it is enough.
We live. We die. We laugh, sing and reminisce of a time before our ascension.
We dream that someday we might see them again.
We know that dream is a lie.
Giving all we have, all we are in fact, we wage war against the forces of Regulos and when we must against even the Guardians, warriors whom we respect and hope will someday understand our reasons.
Rules and stuff
The Forgotten are a group of friends. That’s about it. We have fun and understand that games are games and that real life must come first. We offer a very flat structure that has only two tiers.
There are members and there are recruits.
When someone joins The Forgotten, they are a recruit for a time. Once a recruit proves whether or not they are a fit for The Forgotten they are either a member or released from the guild.
Roleplay isn’t mandatory in guild chat, but we do ask that members never disrupt roleplay taking place in open channels.
