Overview

The Enclave is a internet-based gaming community who's primary game is currently RIFT. The group is heavily noted amongst the games World of Warcraft and Planetside, including topping the 'Kills' and 'Outfit Points' leaderboards in the latter and multiple "Gladiator" titles in the former. Its direct roots, however, stretch back to championships and level design in Team Fortress Classic and Rainbow 6.

Though it embodies the characteristics of a large "elite" guild or clan--"The Arm of Decision in Battle" and "Victory is Our Tradition" are there two most prominent motto--the guild is unique in its playful, sarcastic demeanor and relatively open recruitment. Occasionally their actions are labeled as "griefing" and certain events were referenced in the gaming media, including the bombing of a closing ceremony for a prominent Planetside server and the first recorded bombing of an in-game funeral.

Within RIFT, The Enclave have been vocal supporters of World PvP and other related content on the forums. Since their official decision to make RIFT their next game they have become champions of the movement leading the discussion in various threads and sending questions and concerns to community and fan-site leaders. Already they were instrumental in implementing the "Key Press or Key Release Activation" feature.
