Serenity is a progression-based guild on the Wolfsbane server. We subscribe to neither the Hardcore nor Casual label other guilds adopt, as we have members of both playstyles. Our main goal as a guild is simple: Team up with a group of awesome people and play to have fun.
Everyone defines fun in different ways. Some people find PvP fun, some find raids fun, and others find leveling alts or dungeon crawling fun. Some just want to mess around while having others to chat with. Whatever your brand of fun, it's probably accepted here.
Serenity will have a progression-based raiding group. That means we will strive to kill those big internet dragons and get the epic loot, so that we may kill even more internet dragons. While it would be just peachy to be World/Server-First, that's not really our main goal. We're not going to be running any 10-hour raids, bashing our heads against the wall. At the same time, I really don't want to be downing content for the first time six months after everyone else. The competitive spirit drives us.
Many of our members, particularly Officers, are adults. We all have our own odd senses of humor, tease each other, joke, and like to have fun. When not working toward something (like a raid, warfront, etc), we don't take ourselves too seriously. When it's business time, we like to put in work. Despite our general laid-back attitudes, extreme douchebaggery will probably not be tolerated.
One thing all potential members can be sure of is that we want to keep a drama-free environment. Most of the Officers have known each other in real life for over fifteen years. We're like brothers. Dramatic people and shiny epics will never top that, so if you're a manipulative bastard who's simply out for yourself and your own entertainment at the expense of everyone else around you, this isn't your kind of guild.
