[edit] Overview
Rise is an RP guild on the Sunrest RP/PVP server. We aim to incorporate all the elements that make the RPG experience great. Our core group is experienced over many MMO’s and enjoy all the content the game has to offer. We are looking for a variety of player types. Within our guild are three cohorts which are Crusaders (Raid focused players), Sentinels (PVE focused players), and Soldiers (PVP focused players). We have ranks and rewards for each. Many players will show an affinity for one aspect over the other, but remain very balanced. Many of us enjoy writing, and are always interested in character development, hosting events, and writing histories for the guild; as well as reading what others have to offer. We have no tolerance for abuse, including non constructive criticism in raids, and player abuse of non-guilded players. We care greatly about the image of the guild and look to become one of, if not the, premier RP guilds in Rift, and will work quickly to establish our reputation on Sunrest. We will likely form alliances with other Sunrest guilds for the purpose of enhanced trade in professions, and raid/dungeon availability. This will be carried out through a chat platform that will exist out of game. This way you are asking 60 players if anyone wants run a dungeon, rather than 15; guildies come first, always. Our raid schedule will likely be 2-3 nights a week and will be scheduled to a time that is most beneficial to the majority of the members of a particular raid. As we encourage members to experience all the content a game has to offer, it is likely many of our members will not reach raid capabilities quickly; but make no mistake about it, those bosses will go down.
