1. Luminance is a casual guild focused on community, formed by like minded mature individuals. We understand foremost that this is just a game and family/work commitments come first. We also accept that there is a broad scope of ability within the game, Luminance is not an elitist guild. There is no age restriction, but we do have a level of expectancy when it comes to behavior, people will be kind respectful and courteous when interacting with other players, whether they’re a Luminance member or not.
2. Our guild is built around a relaxed happy community. This is so important to us that we cannot and will not risk losing it. As a result all new recruits will have a 2 week probabtionary period. At the end of this period, or at any timer during, Officers will vote to see if they believe the recruit should remain within the community. This vote is final, and the recruit may be asked to leave if it is felt they would disturb the ethos of Luminance. After this period they have the potential to progress further within the guild rank structure.
3. Luminance is a community and as such we expect people to be involved with it, not only by benefiting from it, but also contributing. Although nothing is enforced when it comes to play time, people will benefit from guild perks, guild crafters and the general progression of the guild as a whole, therefore when the guild requires assistance with guild quests there is an expectation that people will take time out to progress the guild. People’s involvement will not be monitored, however there is no place for freeloaders benefiting from other guild members hard work. If members consistently ignore requests for help from the guild their position and membership to the guild will be reviewed by the officers. The expectation will never be to give up an entire evening of gameplay, but simply to spend ten minutes in a battleground for example, if that would level the guild via the guild quests.
4. There will be guild events, these will aim to be fun, sociable occasions where the guild members get together to achieve a certain goal. Attendance is encouraged, but completely voluntary. They will consist of PvP nights, rift farming, crafting and gathering progression etc.
6. Luminance will progress in high-end instances and raids, but attendance in these raids is optional, however if you say you will attend a certain event, you will be expected to attend. Clearly if there is a requirement for certain level equipment for these raids then it would be unlikely you would get attendance without this kit as it would restrict the other raid members. Should you express an interest to start raiding we would do our best to equip you, either by use of our guild crafters or raid leaders arranging lower level raids or instance farming for kit.
7. Now for the fun part!!!
The following behavior will not be tolerated and will result in an instant kick:
• Bullying or harassment of any player. • Begging. • Asking for boosts (not including a simple request for some help with a dungeon!).
