Posting this both in English and in Dutch, out of respect for this English site, since we are a Dutch-speaking guild and thus are looking for Dutch speaking applicants.

Wie zijn de Low Landers ? Opgericht op 12 februari 2005, hebben we zopas ons 6 jarig bestaan gevierd. Gestoeld op World of Warcraft kunnen we zeggen dat we onze guild succesvol bij elkaar gehouden hebben gedurende die 6 jaar. We zijn een community van Nederlandstalige gamers, Vlamingen en Nederlanders, die naast WoW ook daarbuiten de nodige interactie en plezier kennen (op de fora of tijdens onze meetings 2 keer per jaar).
Casual hardcore, heb ik ooit iemand ons horen omschrijven ... Casual wat schedule betreft. We weten dat mensen een gezin hebben, RL verplichtingen, andere hobbies, ... en houden daar ook zoveel mogelijk rekening mee. Alles mag, niets moet. Hardcore wat inzet en voorbereiding betreft. Als we iets doen, doen we het goed.Met andere woorden : slechts 2 tot 3 maal per week raiden, maar dan wel met volle aandacht, inzet, beoordelingen en feedback.
Trouwens, niet iedereen in onze guild is Raider, we hebben ook veel Guildies die zich niet in het vaste raidteam begeven, maar gewoon genieten van hun game op hun manier in onze community.
Daarnaast is er altijd wel iets te beleven op onze fora. Het niet-game-gerelateerde deel loopt over van de activiteit. Rift ...
Enkelen onder ons stappen over naar Rift.Maar we willen in eenzelfde community genieten van deze nieuwe MMO.Daarom besloten we om een Rift sectie te bouwen binnen onze bestaande community. Interesse ?

Who are the Low Landers ?
Founded February 12th, 2005, we just celebrated our 6 year anniversary.Based on World of Warcraft, we managed to keep the community together for 6 years.
We are a gaming community of Flemish and Dutch gamers, who actively interact outside the game as well. Be it on our forums, or in real life with RL meets twice a year.
Casual hardcore, someone described us ... Casual on schedule. We know people have a family, RL obligations, other hobbies, ... Anything "can", nothing "has to". Hardcore is how we do things when we do organise events. If we do something, we do it right.In other words : 2 to 3 raids a week, no "min. attendancy" that will kick you miles out, but when we raid, we do it with dedication and focus. Besides, not everyone is raiding in our guild. We have a lot of guildies that play their game the way they want to play it and are having fun in our community.
Outside the game, there is also a lot of interaction on our forums. The non-game-related fora are very active.
Rift ...
Some of us will make the transition to Rift.But we want the same kind of community in this new, fantastic, MMO.That'ts why we decided to build it within the community we allready enjoy.
