Overview

Legion is a North American guild that has its roots back in the ancient days of Ultima Online. Unlike many other guilds from then we not only exist, but have grown, and prospered over the last 14 years. We have no desire to become a huge guild or zerg army; we operate more like several Special Forces units.

Notice: There is a fake legion guild who rolled on the Guardian side. Our guild only plays on Defiant.

Recruitment and Pre-Launch Membership

We are looking to increase our numbers in Rift. Legion is expected to have at least 35+ active members not including recruits that will be ready to play pre-launch. Legion is not only looking for dedicated players that will contribute to the Legion but members that will put Legion first even before their own in game interests. We encourage to join us on the forums and in Ventrilo. In the past we've had members online at all hours of the day and night. Groups will be available on a regular basis so that Legion members can progress more efficiently. If Legion appeals to you and you wish to join, please submit an application on our forums.

Goals

Legion is a North American guild that has its roots back in the ancient days of Ultima Online. Unlike many other guilds from then we not only exist, but have grown, and prospered over the last 14 years. We have no desire to become a huge guild or zerg army; we operate more like several Special Forces units. A small team who communicates well can eliminate many times their number easily who do not understand the critical importance of tactics and communication. We have perfected this over our years of existence. Rift is a perfect platform to demonstrate our skill in this area and we are excited to be a part of it. We have a 75+ man Ventrilo server, a strong web presence, and very active forums.

Legion Code

I. Legion are killers

First and foremost, Legion members are killers who are bred for strife. When battle begins, you must react instinctively. He who hesitates or is uncertain in the face of battle is lost; Legion has no place for such persons.

II. Legion are one through the strength of many

We are Legion, Legion is one. We are made strong by the combined might and personal contributions of many individuals. You are urged to reach the pinnacle of excellence in all aspects of your virtual persona. Whenever possible, assist your brethren in becoming more powerful.

III. Legion achieve power and domination at all cost

We are not a “good” guild. We are neither player killers nor defenders of justice. We are concerned with the advancement of our organization as well as achievement of personal excellence. We have no objection to working with others as long as it benefits our organization. Our main interests are power, dominance, and self-preservation. We are not role-players. We are not here to kill the same monster a million times or farm items. We play to become as powerful as possible in the least amount of time. Our goals must be achieved by any means necessary, including what those of lesser fortitude might perceive as questionable acts.

IV. Legion do not forgive or forget

Our organization has a long memory. Cross us at your own peril. Our enemies will receive no rest or reprieve; we will torture you. Individuals or groups who seek to impede us will be dealt with using any and all mechanisms the game universe permits.

V. Legion act with Strength and Honor

Legion members take personal responsibility for their actions and are self-sufficient. Whining and complaining are not tolerated within this organization. Remember that you are part of a proud organization and act accordingly. Act with dignity as you represent Legion, those who cannot have no place among us.

VI. Legion members are all equals

All members are expected to have earned their place among us, and are considered equally important. Show all members the same amount of respect that you expect to be shown. Legion has a GM, and a small number of leaders assigned to specific roles to assist in the smooth operation of the guild. Disagreements between members are few, but when they occur they are dealt with swiftly by the leadership.

VII. Legion members have a voice

All members vote upon major issues affecting Legion. Once the membership has had ample time to be heard, the organization’s leadership will review their input and render a final decision.

VIII. Legion members have a proud tradition

Over the past decade, our members have added to the pages of MMORPG history. Legion is selective in our recruiting of new members. Through discipline, skill, and force of will Legion have prevailed time and again against greater numbers of determined enemies. Entire guilds have been wiped out by groups and guilds a fraction of their size. We are Legion, we are one. Never larger than we need to be, we accept only like minded individuals who share our vision.

IX. Legion members are faggots

People who join this guild have but one thing on their mind: Rape. Legion members rape each other on a daily basis. This is why you join Legion. Amazing sex.
