The Eye of Dirge is Upon You Defiant Guild: Dayblind
Straight away, I'll start this by saying that I have no intention on "selling you" Dirge, I've already seen people on the shard advertising their guilds as having a guild bank and soon to have a guild website, looking to topple the server with their masses. (Which personally I've always found impressive that a guild has a guild bank in a game that doesn't have guild banks yet.) I'd much rather tell you what Dirge is.
We are a tight Knit community of extremely good players who are working our hardest together to make each and every one of us top of our class. At no point in Dirge do any of our members become a number that we use to pave our way to being the largest guild on the server. Dirge is about being the best because we worked together the whole way.
Some of our History: Most of us started out as active members in a guild on the Server Volkmar in Warhammer Online. It was exactly what we are avoiding now, a large impersonal guild that had an almost non-existent leader. After much discussion we uprooted and moved to the server Badlands, at the time the most populated server in the game. Very quickly there after, with our extensive knowledge of the PVE content and the quality of our pvp, we allied with the best guilds on the server and became a force to be reckoned with. Sadly, Warhammer is a dieing game, and by beta 2 most of our players were already in Rift. Communication: We currently operate a 25 man ventrilo server, but expansion is not a problem. Also we have a website at dirge.mmoguildsites.com and have plans for expansion with a facebook page in the works and a twitter page on the way. Recruitment: We do not have a formalized recruitment process all we ask is that you spend some time playing with us prior to joining. Almost all of our communication is done with ventrilo, so while not a requirement to have a mic, we do ask that you are willing to download ventrilo to hear what is going on. Also most of our major news and updates our done through the website so a willingness to make an account there is a must as well. A quick note: Most guilds have everything mandated by the guild leader. With Dirge this is not the case, our most dedicated officers are members of an inner circle that have as much say in the operations of the guild as the guild leader. This changes the dynamic of the way the guild is lead in a way that greatly improves everyones enjoyment.
