[edit] Overview
Desire is a European guild formed from players of the Guardian faction. It was created during the third Closed Beta Event and is currently focusing on expanding its ranks before the game launches, so that we can start together on one of the European servers. Unlike many other pre-release guilds out there, we are a Rift-only guild formed during the beta. Therefore, everyone here will have a fresh start!

Recruitment is currently open to all callings and classes. If you wish to join Desire and together explore the world of Telara, visit our website, read the guild rules and fill an application. We will get back to you as soon as possible - typically within a day or two!
Goals
Our main goals are:
- Gather as much information about the game as possible
- Help guild members progress through the game when it launches
- Work together on clearing the instances, rifts and raids
- Participate in faction PvP (though PvP is not a focus of the guild)
- Do not overexpand. We prefer to have a force of 40 active people who know each other, rather than 200 faces who almost never log on.
We plan to:
- Start together on one of the European servers when the game launches
- Choose a PvE server (RP or non-RP, will depend on the majority vote before the launch)
- Strive to play together while progressing through the game
- Tackle the available content on a semi-hardcore basis (we will attempt to keep a dedicated core of players, although without things like on-call availability and the like)

News
Beta Event 3 has come to an end! During this event, Desire has been formed and our very first members have joined from among the Guardian population of Blightweald server. Even though our roster is not big, all our active members participated in the zonewide massive events. We even managed to lead one successful raid against the invading Aelfwar forces, destroying both their Preservers and the Idol! (and one not-so-successful raid, which destroyed one of the Preservers but did not make it in time to the other before Sanctum fell - but such is the fate of mostly-pickup raids)
