The Eye of Regulos is the location of the first rift that was opened. It was the original source of all death that flowed across Telara. Contrary to Guardian misconception it was a Mathosian who opened the first rift. This now closed rift is immensely bigger than your standard Death Rift you will find across Telara and can only indicate the size of battles that will be seen in end-game raids.
