Dodging is the act of moving aside to avoid being hit by an incomming attack. It is a mean of physical Damage mitigation

Any physical, either melee or ranged, can be dodged. a dodged attack will not deal any damage, and will not trigger any effects caused by the attack.
The main attribute for dodge is the dodge rating, as shown on the character sheet. 1 Dexterity provides 1 dodge rating.
The chance to dodge an incomming attack is :
- DodgeChance = X * DodgeRating
With X being a factor that depends on the level of the player, as found on the following table [1]:

| 17 | 0.0944 |
| 20 | 0.0647 |
| 31 | 0.04095 |
| 50 | 0.0237 |
As you gain levels, you need to stack more dodge rating to keep the same dodge chance.
