Bonehew the Thunderer is the third boss of Deepstrike Mines . He must be fought on the platform or he will reset. He is also the easiest of the bosses found here.
Tactics
Bonehew the Thunderer is a fairly straight forward fight. DPS should position themselves behind the boss as he has a frontal cleave, and casters should spread out. The tank should try to position the boss on the center the platform.
Randomly throughout the fight, Bonehew the Thunderer will run to one side of the platform. When he begins to move, all players should pick a side and run to either the left or the right of the place the boss is running to. When he reaches the edge, he will turn towards the center of the room and cast a rock wave that will deal a large chunk of damage, knock you backwards, and should you be in an unfortunate position, right off the platform! The rock wave has a very wide range but it is easily avoided as long as you are paying attention and get to one side of the boss quickly.
After this happens he should go back onto the tank who will reposition him in the center once again for a wash, rinse, and repeat kill.
