Barbwing is the worst of the vespids infesting the Stone Grove. The air is full of their buzzing, but his is the foulest. There have been numerous reports of animals and people attacked by this menace, and he needs to be put down.

And to top it off, that's our holy shrine to Carwin being infested. His presence also puts all of the granitewood that grows there at risk. You'll find the Stone Grove to the east, north of the Keenblade Mill. If you manage to kill Barbwing, you'll earn a nice trophy, and you'll have the thanks of the grove keepers.
